This year in the Bay of Plenty, 3 facilitators ran the Trees for Survival programme across 34 schools in Rotorua, Whakatāne and Tauranga. Partnerships between TfS and HALO Whakatāne and EnviroHub Bay of Plenty (Tauranga) have enabled the successful running of the programme in these areas. Planting days took place on farms, public reserves and parks which have now become home to a huge 25,226 native plants! Thank you to those partners who have supported this fantastic restoration activity by Bay of Plenty schools.
