it is a proud moment when the Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland team can put away their planting gear for another year and reflect on a fantastic season. In partnership with Auckland Council, 8 facilitators supported delivery of the TfS programme to 116 Auckland region schools in 2026. It is a fantastic milestone to receive the final planting day data for the region and recognise what has been achieved. Together, over 3,000 students from both rural and urban schools from all of the Auckland districts have planted over 106,000 native plants this season! A huge thank you to all the partners and supporters who have enabled this fantastic milestone for our environment.
