Stewart Rehabilitation Services joins Trees for Survival

Near the end of last year our Stewart Rehabilitation Services branch was fortunate enough to be receiving a plant unit from Trees for Survival courtesy of Kinetics as an initiative for us to participate in.

When the unit first arrived we didn’t know what to expect but were very excited about having something different. On our first day of planting everyone was enthusiastic and took part – Barry Noa has been our key person to look after our unit and direct people to the tasks required.

Over the course of the last three months I must thank everyone at the Auckland South branch on how we have transformed our bare unit into a forest of native plants that would later be transferred and planted on a farm somewhere throughout New Zealand.

It is with this in mind that we are proud to be a part of this awesome initiative in making a difference to the overall landscape of Aotearoa.
