The second TfS seedling and Yates potting mix distribution in July went smoothly under the leadership of Rotarian Chris Ward, but the day had a different flavour from previous pick up days. The Rotarians, who arrived as volunteers to pick up their loads for dropping to an area of TfS schools, were surprised to find two able young men ready to manhandle the bags into their vehicles and trailers.

TfS appreciated the support from Ms Luisa Lui-Webster of Edgewater College, who allowed these students to have this experience, and Gavin Balcombe at Multistrut Industries, who showed them work under way in the warehouse.

Chris commented, “Thanks for the muffins that were appreciated by all, and apologies to the Rotarians who loaded and departed so efficiently they missed their muffins.”
